We did a survey asking people to reflect on both their own and other Weddings they have attended, and asked them in their experience what they consider to be Wedding no-no’s. We have compiled a list of the top things that people dislike. See if you agree.

Brides & Bridesmaids no-no’s

Too much cleavage on display
Too much fake tan
Brides changing their appearance too dramatically
Brides being expected to lose weight
Puff Ball sleeves
Flower girls with make up on
Plastic horseshoes



Grooms no-no’s

Grooms not being viewed as being as important as the bride
Grooms in kilts wearing underwear
Top hats and Canes
White suits for non beach weddings


 

 
Wedding  no-no’s

Cringworthy speeches
Poems being used as a method of asking for money rather than gifts
Butterfly/Dove releases
Animals being guests at the wedding
Too much time between ceremony and food
Themed weddings i.e Star Wars
Groom removing the garter in front of guests
Fighting
People thinking it’s OK to check if a kilted Groom is a ‘true Scot’
